
Bill Nichols is one of the founders of Maranatha Christian Academy. He has eight years of experience as a homeschool dad and has also had his children enrolled in Christian schools. He has a vision for the future of Maranatha Christian Academy and a strong desire to see it become one of the best schools in the state with a complete program of Christian education from preschool through high school.
Mr. Nichols graduated from Iowa State University with majors in
history, government, and physical education. He experienced a
Puritan-style conversion to Jesus Christ while in college. He
has been in business in Ames since graduation from ISU. In 1988
he founded International Outreach, a Christian organization with
a literature outreach in numerous countries around the world.
He is the author of several books and tracts including The Narrow
Way, The Narrow Road that Leads to Life, and The Pilgrim's Progress
Primer. He has also written commentary for three volumes of sermons
by Jonathan Edwards: Seeking God, Knowing the Heart, and The Torments
of Hell.
