Girls Vision Team Defeats Fort Dodge in OT

In the most exciting Vision game of the year so far, the Vision girls junior high team defeated the Fort Dodge Christian Crusaders 28-23 in overtime last week in Ames. Vision was led by the outside shooting of Julianna Moeller and inside shots by Maranatha students Kayley Bruce and Hannah Nichols. The trio combined for 24 of Vision’s 28 points.

Although Vision led most of the game, Fort Dodge came back to knot the score at 22-22, sending the game into overtime. In overtime Vision never looked back after Hannah Nichols hit the first two early on. Leading scorers for Vision were Julianna Moeller with 12, and Kayley Bruce and Hannah Nichols with six each. Leading rebounders for Vision were Kayley Bruce and Hannah Nichols with eight and five respectively.
